The High Court in Nairobi is delivering its verdict on a case filed by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
Before a three-judge bench, Gachagua presented a petition arguing that his removal from office in October 2024 was unconstitutional.
Justices Eric Ogola, Anthony Mrima, and Freda Mugambi are delivering their verdict nearly 20 months after Gachagua’s impeachment.
The Monday judgement will determine whether the court upholds or overturns the Senate’s decision to remove Gachagua from office.
