Three people die on the spot after road accident in Machakos

Three people died on the spot on Sunday morning following a road accident involving a 43-passenger matatu and a trailer at Kyumbi junction in Machakos County.
Confirming the accident, Athi River North OCPD Anderson Mbai said among the deceased was the driver of the matatu which was travelling from Nairobi to Kathiani constituency.
He added that 37 passengers on the matatu and those on the trailer were injured and taken to Machakos Level 5 hospital for treatment.
