Kisii: Police recover 243 rolls of bhang in Mwata area

Police in Kisii South's Mwata area recovered 243 rolls of bhang hidden in a maize plantation.

Officers from Kerina Police Station seized the 243 rolls of bhang during an operation led by the Officer in Charge of the Station (OCS).

A motorcycle, believed to have been used for drug trafficking, was also recovered during the operation.

Authorities are currently searching for the suspect who fled the scene.

“The exhibits were seized and are being held securely at the station. The suspect, however, managed to escape from the scene and is currently being pursued,” police added.
