Shabiki, Viutravel announce partnership with Patron’s Golf Cup

In a bid to enhance their market penetration, gaming company Shabiki.com and online booking platform Viutravel have announced a new partnership with Patron’s Golf Cup ahead of this year’s event that will be held at Muthaiga Golf Club in Nairobi from Friday, the 22nd, to Sunday, the 24th of August 2025.

The event, which started to honor the late president Mwai Kibaki, kicked off in 2022 and has been held annually ever since.

Shabiki.com’s Wako Abdi described the milestone as a proud moment that, apart from sponsoring the event, will open new market frontiers for the fast-rising gaming platform.

“Shabiki is dedicated to sponsoring moments that matter, and we believe this cup is one of these moments,” he stated.

Eric Malonza, the captain of the club, encouraged golf fans across the country to come and watch the sport they love.

“We would like to call on all golf fans to come and witness a truly great competition, which is played by the best of the best in the country,” he said.

Muthaiga Gold Club chairman Dennis Mwirigi promised the competitors a good challenge in this year’s edition.

“I am proud to say that Muthaiga Golf Club has won the last three Patron Cup competitions.

This is a very exclusive tournament, and we can assure fans they will not be disappointed,” he stated.
