The deal, which directs Ksh5 million to each of three clubs—3K FC, Kisumu All Stars, and Migori Youth—plus Ksh1 million for merchandise, has sparked enthusiastic reactions from club officials and football leaders eager to see the league turn a new page.
Kisumu All Stars CEO Nicholas Ochieng speaking during the deal-signing, called the partnership a “co-driver of success.”
He outlined bold ambitions to return to the FKF Premier League by 2026 and eventually compete in continental tournaments.
“Already, we have taken bold steps to position ourselves as a modern, professional-run football club. We have fully digitized our ticket system, so all our home game matchday tickets are all going to be sold on our website,” he declared, adding that the team has already digitized ticketing and enhanced its online marketplace to match the professionalism that supports the sponsors' demands.
From Embu, 3K FC chairman Charles Njagi, who also serves as FKF Eastern NEC representative, described the sponsorship as “historic” for a club that has never had a commercial partner.
“Just like the mustard seed, young talent from our villages and schools can now grow to the national arena,” he said, emphasizing that the funding will nurture both male and female footballers and give young people a chance to dream bigger.
The federation welcomed the new chapter as well. FKF President Hussein Mohammed lauded the initiative but reminded clubs that transparency and accountability are critical to sustaining such support.
“And I want to give some assurance, it is only the beginning. We are going to do more. Governance becomes very important at the club level.
"Make sure that whatever you do, you are accountable whenever the resources come, that you are transparent in how you do things, and that you also have integrity in how we run the game. “
The Gaming Firm Country Director, Sasha Krneit, said the investment reflects the passion and resilience of Kenyan football.
“When a team looks professional, it plays with confidence and communities rally behind it,” he noted, highlighting that each club will receive new home, away, and third kits to strengthen their brand identity.
With the NSL long starved of major backing, reactions from stakeholders show a rare collective optimism.
As the season kicks off, 3K FC, Kisumu All Stars, and Migori Youth believe this sponsorship can ignite their promotion dreams and set a new standard for the league’s growth.
