The Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) will hold a crucial stakeholders’ meeting on 10 October 2025 at the Nyayo National Stadium, Media Centre, to kick off preparations for the 2025–2026 volleyball season.

The meeting will bring together clubs, coaches, referees, and partners to align on fixtures, rules, and growth strategies for the sport.

The meeting will feature an address by federation officials, a comprehensive marketing briefing, a review of the 2024–2025 season, and the official unveiling of the new season calendar, alongside the drawing of lots to determine fixtures.

It comes when KVF is pushing for a more structured, marketable, and competitive volleyball ecosystem.

Top on the agenda will be rules and regulation updates, operational plans, and deliberate efforts to build on the momentum generated by the inaugural Kenya Cup, which concluded last month and attracted multiple sponsors and strong fan engagement.

KVF is expected to capitalise on this recent success to strengthen its marketing strategy, targeting more commercial partnerships, increased matchday attendance, and broader media coverage for the league.

Stakeholders will be briefed on new promotional campaigns aimed at elevating the profile of both the men’s and women’s leagues nationwide.

The 2024–2025 season ended in June, with GSU reclaiming the men’s national title after defeating Kenya Ports Authority in straight sets, while Kenya Pipeline edged DCI 3-2 in a thrilling women’s final — both matches highlighting the depth and competitiveness of Kenyan volleyball.

With eyes now on the new season, KVF is calling for full and punctual participation from all invited parties as the federation sets the tone for a more professional, visible, and inclusive era in Kenyan volleyball.
