KCB RFC out to end 7s Circuit in style, says Amonde

KCB RFC head coach Andrew Amonde has hailed the blend between the
experienced players and their juniors as the reason for their dominance in the
ongoing National Sevens Circuit.
Speaking ahead of the final leg - the Dala Sevens this weekend, Amonde
said the healthy competition in the squad has proved crucial for their
impressive run so far.
“The willingness to keep on improving and the friendship team work has
all been crucial to our dominance that has created healthy competition among
the player which is every good for the team,” said Amonde.
KCB head into the final leg of the competition as circuit leaders, and
the coach says they are going for the title.
“We are preparing well to finish the circuit on a high all the
stakeholders are putting in the hard work required to make sure we secure the title,”
added Amonde
The bankers, winners of the Driftwood, Christie, and Kabeberi 7s, will
square off against a resurgent Mwamba RFC, perennial entertainers Homeboyz RFC
and invitational side Embu RFC; and Amonde has a clear strategy for the pool.
“We are not going to underrate any team we are taking every match with
the seriousness that it deserves so I believe we will have a great outing this
weekend in Kisumu,” stated the sevens head coach.
