Diani Stars, Mwanambeyu Girls shine in beach soccer

Diani Stars and Mwanambeyu Girls are the winners of Kwale Football Kenya Federation (FKF) beach soccer tournament first edition.
Diani Stars took the men's title after beating Barbados 4-2 as Mwanambeyu Girls clinched the womens tittle after thrashing Diani Queens 4-2.
FKF president Hussein Mohammed said that the federation will continue supporting grassroots football to develop more talent by the youth.
He said they will invest in beach soccer to promote sports tourism, calling on more investors to come on board and partner in organising more tournaments.
The tournament, which kicked off in May playing at Kongo Beach in Diani, involved 24 teams, including 16 for men and 8 for women.
