Police Commander Edward Imbwaga said the child had accompanied his mother, who
works as a househelp, to the residence.
According to a

in household chores. He is reported to have inserted a pair of scissors into a
power extension cable that was plugged into a wall socket.
The child’s
body was discovered lying on the floor, still clutching the scissors in his
right hand, which remained attached to the socket.
The mother,

occupied with other duties.
Police officers, with the assistance of Kenya Power technicians, processed the scene before the body was moved to Kapkatet mortuary.
