Two people killed after lorry plunges into a river in Bomet

According to Bomet's disaster management officer Stanley Mutai, the accident occurred at around 5am after the lorry hit a bump and lost control before plunging into the river.
Further, Bomet Police Boss Edward Imbwaga confirmed the incident adding that one more passenger, 27, got a fracture in his left leg and is receiving medical attention at Kapkatet hospital.
He further urged drivers to remain alert on roads as the nation experiences short rains.
Meanwhile, the bodies have been taken to Kapkatet morgue.
