Search on for school driver who drowned at a dam in Eldoret

Police and divers in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County are searching for a body of middle aged man who drowned on Sunday at Ngeria dam in Kapseret Constituency.
According to Uasin Gishu police commander Benjamin Mwanthi, the driver drowned while swimming at the dam, where he had gone to wash the school van.
Efforts to retrieve his body has been in vain.
Ngeria ward MCA David Kering has called for the urgent fencing off of the dams which emerged after quarry activities in the area to avert such cases.
Kering noted that several people have lost their lives after drowning in the dam.
