Addressing the congregations in Kiambu on Sunday, Ruto said all that he promised Kiambu residents will be delivered. He argued that most promises had already been delivered, including building stalled roads to ease the movement of people and goods.
"I have the report card with me, all that we signed together with you people, has been delivered or is being worked on. Those that are still not yet done will be done," assured Ruto.
"We need to sit down and review the charter so that you can correct me where I have not fulfilled. ("Hiyo itaonyesha Ile kazi mlinipea nimefikisha wapi"). This will show you the work that you gave me to do, how far I have done it, and if there are gaps, I will correct them. Ruto added.
According to Ruto, Kiambu is a leading beneficiary of his administration, as the National government invested Ksh.40 billion to build roads alone.
"I have invested so much money in the infrastructure of this county than any other county in the last two years Kenya Kwanza Administration has been in office," said Ruto.
The Head of State reiterated that no part of Kenya would be left out in development. He says the country's economy is stable and his government is going to complete all stalled projects across the country, including Kiambu County.
Ruto committed to commission the Mau Summit-Malaba road, dual carriage road to Naivasha, and a six-lane road to Nakuru. This, he said, will be completed and be operational before the 2027 general elections.
At the same time, Ruto ordered all levels 1 to 3 hospitals, including sub-county hospitals, to treat outpatients free of charge because the national government will pay for them through UHC.
Ruto cautioned Kiambu County governor Kimani Wamatangi over hospitals charging outpatients despite the national government paying them through UHC.
The president also donated Ksh.5 Million to complete PCEA Joshua Matenjwa Memorial Church.
