The initiative invites gamers and dance lovers across Africa to hit the virtual dance floor, combining their love for battle royale action with high-energy choreography.
The challenge centers around the official campaign anthem "I’m The One", a collaborative Two armed robbers killed by mob in Kondeletrack between PUBG Mobile and Kenyan Gengetone star Fathermoh, known for his catchy hooks and vibrant persona.
Participants are encouraged to record dance videos featuring the signature “Afro Frenzy Move”, a fresh choreography designed to be fun, repeatable, and full of swagger.
The challenge aims to blend the adrenaline of mobile gaming with the energy of African dance culture, while showcasing the continent’s creative potential on one of the world’s most popular short-form video platforms.
To participate, creators must use the official audio — "PUBG Mobile ft Fathermoh – 'I’m The One'" — in a video that is at least 15 seconds long.
The designated “Afro Frenzy Move” must be performed at any point in the video, and all submissions must include the hashtags #AfroFrenzy, #DanceChallenge, #Iamtheone, and #mapangale, while tagging @pubg.mobile.africa.
To boost visibility and virality, PUBG Mobile encourages users to duet with a popular influencer or with the game’s official in-game footage using the same dance move, ensuring content that resonates with both gamers and TikTok’s wider dance-loving audience.
Players are also advised to kick off their videos with gameplay footage before transitioning into the dance, creating a seamless and engaging connection between PUBG Mobile’s action and TikTok’s expressive storytelling.
To keep the momentum going, PUBG Mobile is offering weekly rewards to outstanding participants. The most viewed video each week will receive KES 30,000 in cash, while the most creative entry will walk away with a brand-new Oraimo SpaceBox Pro.
These incentives are designed to reward not just popularity but also originality, with the goal of making the challenge fun, inclusive, and aspirational.
The Afro Frenzy Dance Challenge is the latest in a series of campaigns that signal PUBG Mobile’s growing focus on the African gaming and content creation scene.
