The colorful procession, marked by prayers and chants of praise, was organized by Madrassat Ainnat and Memon Jamaat Imtiaz Masjid, and culminated in a two-day free medical camp at Al Hudaa Mosque.
Speaking during the celebrations, Bilal Abdilaziz, Co-ordinator of Nairobi ZEFE 2025, emphasized the importance of unity and compassion in Kenyan society.
"All mosques have come together Alhamdulillah, we want to thank all institutions who made this event a success as we plan for good more for the society."
Now marking its second anniversary, the medical camp offers general check-ups, dental care, eye examinations, and minor surgical treatments, all provided by volunteer doctors and nurses.
While many patients welcomed the free services, some criticized the Social Health Authority (SHA), saying it had failed to meet their medical needs especially in accessing surgical care.
"I brought my child for check up and also I got medication neede and that is why I ask the government to copy this planning for the less fortunate."
Organizers hope the initiative continues to grow, blending faith and community service in future celebrations.
