Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti has been feted at the 2025 Edition of the ETA Awards in recognition of her outstanding contribution to youth and women empowerment in Machakos County.

The ceremony, held at the Machakos International Convention Centre, brought together leaders and achievers to celebrate excellence across various fields, including leadership and governance, arts and entertainment, community service, and business.

Governor Ndeti, who was unable to attend the event in person, was represented by Dr. Consolata Mutisya, County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Education, and Catherine Mutanu, CECM for Agriculture.

In her message of appreciation, the Governor extended gratitude to the ETA Awards team for the recognition, saying the honour reflects the collective strides Machakos has made in empowering women and the youth through education, entrepreneurship, and inclusive development programs.

She also congratulated all the other winners, applauding their achievements and commitment to excellence. The Governor further commended the organizers of the event, led by patron Reverend Lucy Natasha, for successfully staging a celebration that inspires service and innovation across the country.
