Musyoka said that the presence of the armed forces is causing a lot of fear among the residents of Mandera, where they have reportedly occupied a primary school, bringing education in the area to a standstill.
Speaking in Tseikuru, the Wiper leader asked President Ruto to bring order in Mandera by flushing out the foreign forces from Kenyan soil.
"The army from Somalia is in Mandera. They are telling us that we should not be afraid and that they have talked with out leaders," he said.
The presence of the force in Northern Kenya has raised concerns among citizens, prompting Interior Cabinet Secretary (CS) Kipchumba Murkomen to dispel fears of unrest.
Speaking at a past event, CS Murkomen assured residents of Mandera of their safety from the neighbouring conflict involving Somalia federal troops, Al Shabaab, and Jubaland forces.
"I want to speak clearly: Kenya is not under any threat from Somalia or any regional force from Somalia; the only threat we face is the threat of the Al Shabaab militia,” he said.
His remarks came as a rebuttal to a section of leaders drawn from the opposition who have been asking the government to address the allegations of Jubaland Forces in Mandera.
Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) leader Rigathi Gachagua and former Chief Justice David Maraga have condemned politicians over what they termed as 'deafening silence' on the matter.
