Israel army says four soldiers killed in south Gaza

The Israeli military said that four soldiers were killed and one was severely wounded in the detonation of an explosive device in the Gaza Strip on Thursday.

Israeli media reported that the four were killed inside their military vehicle in the early hours of the morning in the southern Gazan city of Rafah.

According to an AFP toll based on data from the Israeli military, 472 soldiers have been killed since the start of the military's ground offensive in Gaza on October 27, 2023.
