The move will allow local traders to gain exposure to top U.S. companies such as Apple, Tesla, and Amazon directly through blockchain, bypassing traditional brokerage channels.
Bitget has also joined the Global Markets Alliance led by Ondo Finance, a consortium promoting interoperability for tokenised securities. This will enable Kenyan investors to access more than 100 tokenised equities, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and money market funds.
The company says the offering provides three key advantages: global access using local crypto methods without forex or brokerage hurdles, 24/7 trading flexibility, and fractional ownership of leading equities at lower entry costs.
“Tokenisation is the next frontier in finance, allowing everyday investors in Kenya to access Wall Street with ease. Our xStocks and Ondo integration marks a leap forward in giving Kenyans diversified, borderless asset exposure,” said Bitget CEO Gracy Chen.
The company says Kenyan traders can start by opening a Bitget account, completing KYC verification, and accessing tokenized equities and ETFs through Bitget Onchain.
