Adele Dejak unveils Jasiri 2026 collection at black elegance event

Inspired by unapologetic strength, striking beauty and the modern African woman, the collection embodies resilience and identity through Dejak’s signature artistry.
Jasiri, meaning "brave" or "courageous ", transcends jewellery, emerging as armour, art and movement.
“This collection is about standing tall in your truth,” Dejak said. “It’s for the woman who enters a room and shifts the energy, bold, sensual, rooted, and unforgettable.”
Each piece, meticulously handcrafted in Kenya from recycled brass, metals and sustainable beads by master artisans, celebrates the confidence and spirit of a woman who wears it.
“The Jasiri collection is more than jewellery, it is a call to women everywhere to live boldly and fearlessly. Each piece is a reflection of strength, resilience, and beauty rooted in African artistry," Dejak affirmed.
Florid Kanini, Production Manager at Adele Dejak noted that the word "Jasiri" was inspired by modern warrior woman.
"It is bold, energetic and unapologetic," she said. "Jasiri is wearable art that defines bravely."
Both muse and model, Muthoni Matu, alias Sukuma.wiki, embodied the collection's spirit. Her image, portraying the fearless, elegance at the core of Adele Dejak’s accessories.
More than just a face, her presence symbolized the collection’s inspiration, bold, unapologetic, and deeply rooted in African identity.
The launch drew Kenyan's creative and fashion elite, including Chebet Mutai, founder of Wazawazi leather goods, curator Ron Kisochi and media personality and Sukuma.wiki brand ambassador Naila Kenga.
Sidney Wabua, Head of Business Development and Operations joined by models Rosemary Kimani, Jacky Ruto, and Scorpionsclaw, added influence and style to the night’s guest list.
