Sponsored by Ruach Ministries and founded by Reverend Julian Kyula, the non-denominational gathering promised not just sermons but a powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit under the theme: “I Will Build My Church.”
Each radiant day at the Feast unfolded from early morning until late night, with worship sessions beginning at 7 a.m. and stretching beyond 9:30 p.m, creating an immersive spiritual marathon as believers lit the sky with their phone flashlights under the watchful stars.
Attendees were met with praise teams whose anthems ignited the crowd, setting the stage for two transformative sermons: one in the afternoon and another at night.
The atmosphere thundered with the voices of gospel royalty from Kenya's Kambua, Evelyn Wanjiru, Kestin Mbogo, Destiny Voices, Tanzania's Bella Kombo, Nigeria's Sinach and others led altars aflame with reverent songs.
When Nigeria's Nathaniel Bassey took the stage with his trumpet, the mood ascended to euphoric heights.
As he performed soul-stirring hits like Imela and Onise Iyanu, worshipers raised their hands in unison, utterly captivated by the spiritual crescendo.
The pinnacle of days 4 and 5 came with Apostle Joshua Selman, who delivered a profound exposition on three foundational sermons: The nature of Christ’s true church, its architecture, and nine pillars of the apostolic church.
Further contributions came from a distinguished roster of ministers, including Bishop Funke Felix Adejumo, Pastor Isaac Oyedepo, Pastor Felix Okoh, Bishop JB Masinde, Bishop Kathy Kiuna, and Pastor Poju Oyemade.
The youth found resonance in Pastor Anthony Mwangi, popularly known as “Pastor T”, whose message vibrated with modern relevance for Kenya’s younger generation.
On Day 5, the expansive grounds of Uhuru Park felt almost too small for the crowd as thousands lifted their voices in prayer for Kenya, declaring it a new beginning for the nation.
Beyond the worship and preaching, Rhema Feast resonated as a movement. The name Rhema is derived from a Greek term meaning uttering or spoken word.
Established in 2015, the event began as a small gathering of believers that has now blossomed into a monumental, inclusive annual event.
The Feast’s impact was amplified by extensive media coverage and trending topics. It streamed live across 19 platforms, including NTV, Y254, Family TV, Hope Media, JCCTV, Kingdom TV, Citam Digital, and Ruach TV.
Across social media platforms, hashtags like #RhemaFeast2025 and #HallelujahChallenge and clips of thousands of youth flooding Nairobi's CBD while singing, shouting, and glorifying the name of Jesus trended online.
As the crowd dispersed from Uhuru Park, the echoes of songs, prayers, and unity lingered in the city’s air.
For many, Rhema Feast 2025 was more than just a five-day gathering; it was a defining spiritual moment that rekindled faith and reaffirmed Nairobi’s place as a heartbeat of revival in Africa.
