Taking to X on Thursday, Gachagua termed Mutharika's triumph as a "continental statement" that the ballot can simply oust punitive leadership.
"It is a declaration that Africa, the rising continent and a home to 1.5 billion people, is no longer a playground for religious hypocrisy, conmanship, corruption, pathological lies, dictatorship, and self-serving regimes," he noted.
Gachagua further noted that the outcome should send a warning to leaders clinging to power through ill motives and flouting the rule of law, noting that their days are numbered.
"From Idi Amin to Mobutu, from Bokassa to Mugabe, the era of oligarchy and strongmen has collapsed under the weight of people's power on the ballot," he narrated.
"Malawi has reminded us that African citizens are awake. They see. They feel. They think. They act."
He therefore urged Kenyans to also stand on guard ahead of the 2027 General Election and use the ballot to oust ill leadership that has pushed the nation to a precipice.
"Let it ring loudly in the hearts of all those still waiting for justice, dignity, real leadership, and liberation," he noted.
"The will of the people is supreme. WANTAM IS A REALITY!"
President-elect Mutharika, 85, was credited with improving infrastructure and lowering inflation during his 2014 to 2020 presidency, but critics accused him of cronyism, which he denied.
He dusted Lazarus Chakwera whose tenure was full of accusations of mismanagement and indecisiveness and also failing to tackle corruption and deliver on promises to create jobs.
During his term, costs soared in the agriculture-dependent and rural nation, with inflation reaching 33 per cent and the price of staple food maize and of fertiliser jumping, a key talking point at the poll.
Chakwera has conceded defeat to Mutharika on September 24, hours before the election authority was due to announce the final results of the September 16 election.
