A driver and two passengers died early Saturday after the driver lost control of the vehicle on Raila Odinga Road in Nairobi, causing it to veer off the road, crash onto a footbridge and burst into flames.
The three occupants were burnt beyond recognition in the early morning incident.
Residents who witnessed the crash said the ill-fated vehicle was travelling at high speed before the accident occurred.
The bodies of the victims were taken to the Nairobi Funeral Home, while the wreckage of the vehicle was also towed to the facility before police moved it elsewhere as investigations continue.
