The Tanzanian Government says peace and stability have been fully restored across the country following the recent disputed elections that were marred by chaos.

In an official travel advisory issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism, Tanzania sought to assure both domestic and international travellers that all social, economic, and tourism activities are continuing as normal.

The Ministry added that the situation had been swiftly contained following recent post-election incidents, emphasising that the country remains a safe and welcoming destination.

“Peace and stability have been fully restored throughout the United Republic of Tanzania. All social, economic, and tourism activities are proceeding normally following the swift containment of recent post-election incidents,” the statement read.

Head of the Government Communication Unit Nteghenjwa Hosseah assured travellers that all entry and exit points remain fully operational.

“Travellers are therefore encouraged to proceed with their plans to visit and explore Tanzania’s exceptional attractions with confidence,” he added.
