Soy United’s vice-captain, Wattsak Mutsami, has expressed joy after his team registered their first win of the National Super League season by defeating Luanda Villa 1–0 on Wednesday.
Speaking to Citizen Digital, Mutsami revealed Soy United employed attacking tactics from the onset, pinning down their opponents from start to finish, which helped them secure the crucial victory.
"Our aim was to collect maximum points at home. We went into the fixture with in mind and the players stuck to the plan. First, we were spirited to win, we wanted nothing short," Mutsami said.
In their next match, Soy United will play away against MOFA. Mutsami said they immediately began preparations after the win, adding that their goal is to secure another victory.
"We went back to prepare for MOFA immediately, we are going to play them away and our target still is three points, we urge our fans to keep pushing us," he added.
