The delegation conveyed messages of sympathy and solidarity to Dr Oburu Odinga, acknowledging the profound personal loss to the Odinga family and their enduring contribution to Kenya’s public life.

Beyond conveying condolences, the meeting also reflected on national leadership and public service, with discussions centring on the importance of sustained and effective service delivery to Kenyans.
The leaders reiterated that this focus aligns with the vision espoused by the late Raila Amolo Odinga, particularly as articulated in the bipartisan framework under the Broad Based Government and subsequent cooperation between ODM and the Kenya Kwanza administration.
Dr Oburu Odinga and the visiting Principal Secretaries insisted their shared commitment to supporting President William Ruto’s government in delivering tangible development outcomes across the country.
They noted that Principal Secretaries, as accounting officers and policy implementers, have a central role in translating national priorities into measurable impact for citizens.
