Raila's bodyguard Ogeta appointed Security Advisor for Mombasa County

Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Nassir made the appointment on Thursday following the establishment of the respective positions by the Mombasa County Public Service Board. 

“The appointment is informed by his extensive experience and expertise gained at local, regional and global levels, including his service to the late Founding Party Leader, H. E. Raila Odinga, C.G.H,” said Governor Nassir. 

The County boss also appointed Ken Ambani as his Advisor on Creative Arts. 

Nassir said Ambani will support efforts to revive and strengthen the creative arts industry in Mombasa, leveraging his wide sectoral experience to promote talent development and economic opportunities for creatives across the County.

The appointments follow celebrations of late Odinga’s posthumous 81st birthday, held in Mombasa County.

The celebrations brought together Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) officials and members in remembrance of the former Prime Minister.
