Prof. Kenneth Wyne Mutuma honoured at Nairobi Legal Awards

The distinguished advocate was named the first runner-up in both the Lawyer of the Year 2025 and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Practitioner of the Year 2025 categories during the ceremony held on Friday.
According to the LSK Nairobi Branch, Prof. Mutuma was honoured for his “distinguished merit and notable performance” in the 2025 awards cycle.
"Your commitment, skill and leadership have advanced standards of professional excellence within the legal fraternity," the award highlights.
The Nairobi Legal Awards, established in 2017, celebrate excellence and innovation in the legal profession across Nairobi and Kiambu counties. Over the years, the programme has grown in stature, attracting a growing number of participants and attendees while spotlighting exemplary lawyers and legal departments.
Prof. Mutuma, an advocate of the High Court of Kenya, serves as the Managing Partner at Wyne and Associates. He holds a Doctorate and Master’s degree in Law from the University of Cape Town, a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Liverpool, and a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Studies from the University of Nairobi.
His latest honour adds to an impressive list of accolades, including Arbitrator of the Year 2025 by the East Africa International Arbitration Conference (EAIAC), Law Teacher of the Year 2024 from the Law Society of Kenya, and ADR Practitioner of the Year 2023 also by the LSK.
