Probe as herdsman found dead in Muhoroni, Kisumu County

Police in Muhoroni, Kisumu County, have launched investigations after the body of a herdsman was found dumped inside a water pan in Chemelil.

According to a police report, the body of 33-year-old Dalmas Ochieng' was spotted near the water body on Tuesday.

Authorities responded promptly, retrieving the body from the shallow water pan.

A preliminary examination revealed that Ochieng’ had blood oozing from his mouth and nose.

However, no visible physical injuries were observed on the body.

The deceased was employed as a herdsman in Kachieng' village in Chemelil and had been reported missing since Sunday.

His body was taken to Othoo Funeral Home for a postmortem as investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding his death.
