Police Bullets demolish Gideon Starlets

Kenya Police Bullets continue their winning streak in the Kenya Women premier League, thrashing Gideon Starlets 6-0 at the Police Sacco Grounds today.
Bullets started strong, their forward, Margaret Kunihira
scoring the first goal at the 14th minute. She set the momentum for the team as
Zaina Namuleme followed with the second goal at the 16th Minute. Nyabuto Lorna
picked up the tempo and delivered the third goal at the 23rd minute, summing up
three goals for Bullets at the first half, Gideon Starlets standing at zero
goals even with an extra time of two minutes.
Starlets tried to double up their efforts at the second
half, but the Bullets debuting goalkeeper, Diana Tembesi deemed formidable.
Kunihira delivered another goal at the 63rd minute, Purity following with the
fifth goal at the 70th minute, Kunihira concluding with the sixth goal at the
74th minute. The Ugandan sensational player grabbed a hat trick as they
demolished Gideon Starlets in today's match.
Kunihira, the star player, affirms that their motivation for
the win stemmed from their coach who gave them proper training and talks
towards the game. She eyes more wins in the coming games, stating that she
believes in herself and the rest of the players.
"We hope for the best, and I trust in every player
because our coaches also trust in us." She stated.
Coach Police Bullets, David Bujego, was elated with the
results, this marking their consecutive third win of the season. He
congratulates the girls, calling them brave for adapting into his new training
system since taking up the team a month ago.
"They are trying, pushing up their training to adapt to
my new system. They accepted the changes and that's why they are winning,"
a jubilated Bujego remarked.
Police Bullets move up nine points, as they continue their
campaign, preparing to play off against Bungoma in two weeks.
