Nissan is recalling 173,301 vehicles in the United States due to a potential issue with blown fuel pump fuses that can cause engine stalling, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Wednesday.

The fuel tank temperature sensor harness may have been incorrectly routed, damaging wires and causing a short circuit in the fuel pump fuse, the NHTSA said.

The recall applies to three models – the 2013-2021 Nissan NV200 Van, 2014-2017, 2019 Nissan NV200 Taxi, and 2015-2018 Chevrolet City Express vehicles that the Japanese carmaker produced for GM.

Nissan's last recall in the U.S. involved 443,899 vehicles due to an engine failure.
