Nine-year-old girl dies in house fire in Limuru

The victim, a pupil at Rironi Primary School, was reportedly alone at home after her parents left to attend a neighbour’s funeral when the tragedy occurred.

Residents who rushed to the scene said efforts to rescue the child were hampered by acute water shortages in the area. They also decried the delayed response from firefighters, calling on the county government to urgently address the water crisis to prevent similar incidents.
