The distraught family, which has been tirelessly putting up missing-person posters across Kitale town, says they are yet to receive any meaningful updates from authorities, despite assurances that investigations are underway.
Caroline was last seen on October 17, when she reportedly left home with her husband. He later returned alone, raising questions about her fate.
On Thursday, detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) arrived in Kitale to question the husband in a bid to extract crucial information that may help shed light on the incident, which has stirred growing concern among family, friends, and residents in the area.
“The only thing I pray for is that God helps me find my daughter,” said Wilkister Nyaboke, Caroline’s mother.
“The government should hasten investigations and arrest her husband so he can explain where Caroline is. The important thing is that Tobias must be held accountable,” said Calvin Momanyi, Caroline’s uncle.
