Multi-agency team battles bushfire along Voi-Taveta road

A multi-agency team is battling a bushfire along the Voi-Taveta Road in Taita Taveta County.
The Kenya Red Cross, Kenya Wildlife Service and the county fire brigade are on the ground working to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby areas.
The Kenya Red Cross has clarified that, contrary to earlier reports, the incident is a bush fire and not a tanker fire.
The teams are also working to ensure the safety of residents and other road users as efforts to contain the fire continue.
