MOFA FC’s FKF National Super League (NSL) Week 3 fixture
against Kibera Black Stars has been rescheduled, the club has confirmed.
Originally slated for Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Vapor
Grounds in Ngong, the encounter—Fixture No. 40—will now take place a day
later, on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Hope Centre, Kawangware.
According to a communication from the league organizers, the
change was necessitated by the unavailability of the initial venue, prompting
the switch to the new date and location.
The adjustment means the White Rhinos will have an extra day
to fine-tune their preparations as they aim to maintain their perfect start to
the 2025/26 campaign.
MOFA has been in impressive form, winning both of their
opening fixtures against both Nzoia Sugar and Nairobi City Stars without
conceding a goal.
The Homabay-based side currently sits third on the log with
six points, level with Mombasa United and Migori Youth, who only lead on goal
difference.
So far, MOFA has scored two goals and kept two clean sheets,
reflecting a solid balance between attack and defense.
Forward Laban “Labo” Otieno has been the standout performer,
finding the net in both matches to give the Rhinos early momentum in their
promotion push.
MOFA’s perfect start mirrors that of three other sides—Naivas FC, Migori Youth, and Mombasa United—who have also claimed
back-to-back wins. With the competition shaping up tightly at the top,
consistency in the coming weeks could be crucial in setting the tone for the
rest of the season.
The postponed fixture against Kibera Black Stars will
therefore serve as another important test for coach and players alike as they
seek to extend their unbeaten run.
Fans will now shift their focus to Hope Centre, where the
White Rhinos will look to make it three wins from three and continue their
promising start to life in the 2025/26 NSL season with an eye on promotion to
the top-flight league.
