Missing 13-year-old girl found weeks after disappearing at Waterfront Mall

The family of Rahab Njoki Njuguna found her on Saturday morning in a frail state of health. Karen Police Station officers, together with her mother, took her to a hospital for medical examination. 

The police are investigating the disappearance of the girl as they search for those who took her on the seventh of last month.

CCTV footage from Waterfront Karen Mall captured Njuguna walking calmly alongside another girl and a young man. Moments later, more boys join the group, their faces unfamiliar.

Then, after a short while, Rahab is seen walking out of the mall beside the same young man. That was the last time anyone saw her.

Rahab's female friend who was with her at the time she disappeared, said the young man appeared agitated and even threatened her before walking away with Rahab, never to return.

Following the incident, Rahab's family filed a report at the Karen Police Station.
