Kingdom Bank has opened a new branch along Tom Mboya Street in Nairobi as part of its ongoing expansion within the capital.
The branch, located on the Ground Floor of Nature
House, is expected to serve traders, professionals and small businesses
operating within one of the city’s busiest commercial corridors.
Tom Mboya Street hosts a wide mix of retail
outlets, offices and informal traders, making it a strategic location for
financial services.
The bank says the new outlet is meant to improve
access to credit, payment solutions and day-to-day banking for micro, small and
medium-sized enterprises.
Managing Director and CEO Anthony Mburu said the
bank aims to focus on MSMEs by offering flexible business support and financial
products tailored to different sectors.
He noted that the bank is positioning itself to
meet the needs of entrepreneurs facing challenges such as working capital gaps,
rising operating costs and limited access to formal financing.
The new branch will provide a range of services
including personal loans for salaried customers, business loans, stock
financing, asset financing and Faidi Dada, a product targeting woman in
business.
It will also offer payment collection and other
transactional services aimed at easing operations for small traders.
The opening of the Tom Mboya Street branch adds to
Kingdom Bank’s growing footprint in Nairobi, where competition among lenders
for MSME clients continues to intensify.
The bank says the rollout of additional branches
will align with demand patterns in high-traffic commercial zones across the
city.
