Kenya's Hero Bar crowned best in Africa at global awards

Hero Bar & Restaurant, the award-winning cocktail bar at Trademark Hotel, has been named the Best Bar in Africa at the prestigious World's 50 Best Bars Awards 2025, cementing its position as a global leader in innovative cocktail culture.

The World's 50 Best Bars is an annual ranking that celebrates the finest drinking venues across the globe, voted for by an Academy of over 50 independent drinks experts, including renowned bartenders, bar owners, drinks writers, and cocktail specialists.

This is the first time the accolade has been awarded as part of The World’s 50 Best Bars, having previously been presented as The Best Bar in the Middle East and Africa.

Winning this recognition places Hero not only among the best internationally but also shines a spotlight on Nairobi as a rising destination for world-class hospitality and nightlife.
