Kalonzo to begin 10-day visit to the UK on Wednesday

Wiper Patriotic Front (WPF) Party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka is set to begin a 10-day visit to the United Kingdom starting Wednesday as part of what the party describes as efforts to strengthen international partnerships and engage Kenyans abroad.
According to the opposition party, the series of events underscores Kalonzo's growing international and domestic
momentum ahead of the 2027 General Election.
“The visit is part
of continuing efforts to strengthen international partnerships, promote Kenya’s
global profile, and engage citizens abroad on matters of governance, economic
empowerment, and national renewal,” read the statement by WPF Secretary General
Sen. Shakila Abdalla.
During the visit, Musyoka is scheduled to deliver the keynote address at the London Political
Summit and Awards to be held at the UK Parliament, Westminster.
He will also speak
at Chatham House – The Royal Institute of International Affairs, and hold a consultative
meeting with the Commonwealth Secretariat, according to the statement signed by

The Wiper boss will
additionally deliver a special lecture at Oxford University, one of the world’s
foremost academic institutions, and engage in a town hall meeting with the
Kenyan diaspora under the theme “The Kenya We Want.”
The visit by the
Opposition leader comes a month after his co-principals, Deputy President
Rigathi Gachagua and former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i, made similar
visits to the United States.
