On November 18, during the campaign rally at Muminji, Ruku dismissed the claims, terming them as "stupid talks."
"Riggy G, you are spreading lies to Kenyans that you've gone to my grandmother's house to take a cup of tea," the CS stated.
The CS said that his parents are deceased and that he has never seen his grandmother.
Ruku was campaigning for Leonard Muriuki Wamuthende, a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidate, ahead of the November 27 by-election.
The parliamentary seat was left vacant after Ruku's appointment as the CS for Public Service and Human Capital Development, leading to intensified campaigns by politicians in support of their preferred candidate.
UDA's Wamuthende and Democratic Party (DP) candidate Newton Karish are the contestants for the Mbeere North parliamentary seat.
Ruku added that Mbeere North citizens want respect, development, and employment.
