Geoffrey Mosiria leaves environment docket as Sakaja shuffles Cabinet

In a communiqué on Tuesday, Sakaja made the changes under the dictates of Section 45(5) of the County Governments Act, 2012, which grants the governor the authority to re-assign a county chief officer to a different role.
Ten CCOs were reassigned dockets, and some had their dockets added more responsibilities.
Geoffrey Mosiria, who has been seemingly involved and lively in his Environment docket, has been moved to Citizen Engagement and Customer Service.
Clement Rapudo, better known as Clemos due to his famed career in music production and even co-founding Calif Records, has been moved from City Culture, Arts and Tourism to Smart Nairobi, a sector in charge of ICT in the county and e-services.
Godfrey Akumali has been moved from the Business and Hustler Opportunities docket to Housing and Urban Renewal, switching roles with Lydia Mathia.
Hibrahim Otieno will be the new Environment CCO and will hand over the Medical Facilities docket to Sande Gyolo.
Gyolo was the CCO for Digital Economy and Start-ups, which was taken over by Wilson Gakuya, who was heading the Smart Nairobi sector.
Machel Waikenda will retain his role at the Mobility docket and will also be the acting ICT Infrastructure CCO.
Zipporah Mwangi has also been moved from the Citizen Engagement and Customer Service docket to City Culture, Arts and Tourism.
