The two companies have officially opened a state-of-the-art vehicle-care centre at the Galana Energies Kamakis service station, transforming the location into a comprehensive, multi-functional transit hub.
The strategic collaboration allows motorists to access specialized automotive services—including certified tyre fitting, wheel alignment, wheel balancing, and battery diagnostics—alongside their standard fueling and convenience shopping.
“Our service stations are deeply embedded in the daily routines of our customers, and we recognize that modern motorists require services that extend far beyond refueling,” said Anthony Munyasya, CEO of Galana Energies. “Partnering with AutoXpress at our Kamakis station allows us to integrate world-class vehicle-care into that routine, delivering unprecedented convenience and value to the communities and motorists who rely on us.”
AutoXpress corporate leadership echoed the sentiment, highlighting the strategic importance of the Eastern Bypass as a high-traffic arterial route.
By expanding their regional footprint to the Kamakis station, the company aims to bring expert vehicle care directly to commuters.
“The Galana Energies Kamakis location provides an ideal platform to make our premium automotive products and services more accessible to motorists along the Eastern Bypass,” stated AutoXpress leadership.
“Through this partnership, we are bridging the gap between expert vehicle care and daily convenience, meeting our customers exactly where their journeys take them.”
The facility was officially commissioned at a joint launch event attended by executives from both corporations. The AutoXpress service centre at the Galana Kamakis station is now fully operational and open to the public.
Galana Energies is a leading Kenyan energy corporation specializing in petroleum retail, commercial fuels, and LPG, while AutoXpress remains the region's top importer and distributor of automotive tyres, auto parts, and maintenance services across East and Central Africa.
