Kaguchia had arrived at Inooro TV on Sunday evening for an interview on Kiririmbi show, when armed and hooded men arrived outside RMS offices in several cars to arrest him over alleged inflammatory remarks he made in a political rally on Saturday in Nyeri county.
Upon learning he was on the detectives' radar, the legislator holed himself up in the RMS offices, spending the night there for fear of arrest.
"I cannot present myself for abduction by hooded and heavily armed men. Considering there have been abductions in this country, those hooded men can do anything to me," Kaguchia said.
"If I made inflammatory statements as they allege, then NCIC should be summoning me, it's an independent body mandate to investigate such matters," he added.
Kaguchia is accused of threatening President William Ruto's supporters in Nyeri county, where he warned that whoever votes for him will be followed and smoked out of their houses and under the bed.
On Monday, a contingent of police officers and plain cloth men was still waiting for him outside Citizen TV offices, when the leading DCI officer was granted access and picked the MP.
He was taken to the DCI regional offices for interrogation.
