Farmer’s Choice Limited has launched a new cookout series designed to celebrate Kenya’s local production, vibrant food culture, and commitment to quality.
The initiative marks nearly five decades of Farmer’s Choice operations in the region and will feature live cooking demonstrations, tasting sessions, and family-oriented events in supermarkets and community spaces across the country throughout the festive season.
Speaking during the launch in Nairobi, Chief Executive Officer Felisters Gitau Mutugu said the new cookout series “Moments Made to Last,” is part of the company’s broader transformation agenda—Farmer’s Choice 2.0—which focuses on sustainability, innovation, and farmer empowerment.
“We are committed to supporting farmers through transport, improved genetics, and subsidized feeds, ensuring quality from farm to table,” said Mutugu.
She added that Farmer’s Choice continues to invest in local sourcing and partnerships with farmers to enhance productivity and contribute to Kenya’s food security goals.
The Cookout Series will continue to roll out nationwide.
