Marathon legend Eliud Kipchoge has officially announced his return to the prestigious Berlin Marathon this autumn, ending months of speculation about his future racing calendar.
Kipchoge, who has triumphed an unprecedented five times in the German capital, stated during a press briefing in Eldoret that his high-altitude training camp in Kaptagat is already in full swing.
"Berlin is a magical city for long-distance runners. The atmosphere and the flat, fast course inspire greatness, and I am preparing to give my best once again," Kipchoge told sports journalists.
