A badly mutilated body of Simon Isiaho, the principal of Munyuki PAG Secondary School in Lugari, Kakamega County was discovered on Saturday, November 8, dumped in the river Kipkaren.
The river is several Kilometers away from a scene where his badly damaged car was found after he was allegedly involved in an accident on Monday November 3.
KUPPET officials are now calling upon the DCI to expedite investigations into the disappearance and subsequent killing of the Principal and threatened to disrupt the ongoing KCSE exams by withdrawing all principals from examination centers.
“If there will be no step, or a report to explain what happened, we shall be forced to disrupt exam in this region. To withdraw all principals to demonstrate as from Tuesday,” said Johnston Wabuti, KUPPET chairman Kakamega County.
Shortly after his disappearance, the principal's mangled car was found abandoned along the Eldoret-Malaba Highway. His body was not at the scene.
Kakamega Deputy Governor Ayub Savula has called for speedy investigations into the circumstances leading to Isiaho’s death.
“We want to be told what happened from the accident scene to the river. Whoever is involved must be arrested, no one is above the law,” said Savula.
