Blades bag bronze, Chui fault at ACN2025

Grace Bwire lone goal was enough as Kenya national women hockey team, Tausi, skunk Nigeria to bag bronze during the Africa Cup of Nations (ACN) third-place playoffs in Ismailia, Egypt.
The Strathmore side attacking midfielder was able to break
the deadlock a minute into the final period, with a splendid field goal.

netting a consoling field goal for Kenya.
Chui who faced tough competitors managed to register only
two wins.
Defending Champions South Africa extended their reign, to
book World Cup slot as 12th(men) and 9th(women) ACN curtains come down in
Ismailia.
Women side registered their eighth consecutive tittle with a
4-0 win against Ghana, their male counterparts humiliating hosts Egypt 5-1.
Zambia and Egypt finished last for both male and female
consecutively in the eight days continental event.
