Bandari FC will take on Gor Mahia in the ODM@20 Tournament final on Friday at the Mbaraki Stadium, following dramatic semi-final victories for both sides.

Bandari FC secured their spot in the final with a 4-3 win on penalties after a goalless draw in regulation time against AFC Leopards.

The coastal side had better chances in the first half, including a powerful strike from Erick Balecho that grazed the side netting.

Five minutes before halftime, Bandari goalkeeper Levis Opiyo made a crucial goal-line save to deny Victor Omune, keeping the score level at the break.

Ten minutes into the second half, William Wadri narrowly missed the target with a close-range header from Izzadin Ramadan’s corner, giving the visitors a scare.

Despite both teams pushing for a winner in the second half, the deadlock remained.

In the ensuing penalty shootout, Bandari converted through Katana Agege, Otieno Clifford, Sharif Majabe, and Joseph Onyango.

AFC Leopards responded with goals from Odhiambo Kaya, Vincent Mahiga, and Julius Masaba, but missed attempts from Madada Kelly and James Kinyajui proved costly.

Later in the day, Gor Mahia also booked their place in the final with a 4-3 penalty win over Shabana FC, after a 1-1 draw in normal time.

Gor Mahia were first to threaten in the 24th minute, when Felix Oluoch failed to convert a simple tap-in from Samuel Kapen’s cross.

Shabana quickly responded with Otieno Eric heading wide from a Mark Oduor delivery.

Gor broke the deadlock in the 38th minute, when Kapen pounced on a rebound and fired a low shot from 20 yards past Shabana keeper Caleb Omondi.

Just one minute into the second half, Ezekiah Omuri almost equalised with a long-range effort that rattled the crossbar.

Shabana eventually leveled in the 60th minute through substitute Humphrey Obina, who curled a beautiful 19-yard free-kick past Gor keeper Gad Mathews.

In the penalty shootout, Gor Mahia converted through Chris Ochieng, Mark Shaban, Adukwa Ebenezer, and Enock Morrison, while Paul Ochuoga missed his.

Shabana scored via Victor Omondi, Kevin Omondi, and Mark Okola, but misses from Humphrey Obina and Justine Omwando sealed their fate.
