Led by Silas Odhiambo, the fans, dressed in the club’s iconic red and white jerseys, arrived early in the morning and proceeded to Odinga’s gravesite.
There, they sang North London Forever, Arsenal’s anthem, in an emotional tribute to one of their own.
Speaking after a brief prayer session, Odhiambo said the visit was a symbolic gesture to honour Odinga’s lifelong passion for the club.
“The late Odinga was a staunch Arsenal supporter, and as fellow Gunners, we came to celebrate his love for the team and the values he represented,” he said.
The group later visited the Odinga family home at Opoda Farm, where Mama Ida Odinga and Raila Odinga Junior warmly received them.
Odinga’s family expressed deep gratitude for the fans’ visit, noting how much the late Odinga treasured his connection to Arsenal and its global community.
Raila Odinga, who was laid to rest last Sunday, was well known for his unwavering support for Arsenal, a devotion that endeared him to many football fans across the country.
